NSS Activities 2019-2020
The NSS Volunteers on World TB day(24/3/19) participated in a rally that was organized by BBMP from Bangalore Medical College to K.R. Market.
A total of 50 students participated.
A health education was also conducted in Medical OPD of St.Martha’s Hospital.
A total of 25 OPD patients were benefited.
World Environment Day
The NSS Volunteers actively participated in the World Environment Day by conducting the following programmes :
-
1.Collage competition for all batches of B.Sc Nursing (1st-4 th year ) 5 students from each batch participated.
The collage was prepared based on this years theme and were judged by 2 teaching faculty based on various criterias. -
2. Campus cleaning and planting of saplings.
Around 6 students planted 5 saplings and sowed seeds (corriander,chilli,cucumber ) and also ensured that the campus was free of plastic and other wastes,thus making environment eco –friendly. - 3.Taking pledge : As part of World No Tobacco Day,a pledge was taken against the use of tobacco.
- A total of 26 students participated in the World Environment Day Celebration.
